Arts & Entertainment Society
NEW for 2008-2009!
The Arts and Entertainment Society has been set up to bring together people with a shared passion for live events including musical theatre, concerts, dance , comedy, plays and exhibitions. If you enjoy music, theatre, comedy, film, dance, if you want to see concerts, shows and plays for less, if you want to get more out of your time in London, then the Arts and Entertainment Society is for you!! The Arts and Entertainment Society is a great way to meet people with a shared interest in live events and to experiance our culturally diverse capital with a student budget. We will endeavour to find the best student and group discounts so that your ticket gives you a great time out at a great price. We will work closely with other societies and you you a great time out at a great price. We will work closely with other societies and departments, such as music and drama, in order to create and promote a wide range of cultural events.
We will aim to guarantee at least one event will be planned every fortnight. We plan to go to a popular musical theatre show (most probably Billy Elliot) n October and will schedule a meeting for September to organise this and other events.
The commitee of the Arts and Entertainment Society are: Hannah Cott, Isoblel Cox, Emily Eason and Beth Jones.
