Goldsmiths College has one of the strongest and most active Students’ Unions in the country – we want you to make some noise and help make us even stronger and more representative. We’re currently looking for students to join our officer team to make sure students are heard and that our Students’ Union continues to develop and move with the student body.
If you’ve got ideas, enthusiasm and a desire to make the student experience better at goldsmiths then you’re just the person we’re looking for. There are positions available on the Student Assembly for department reps, assembly chairs and we’re also looking for members to represent their fellow students at NUS Conference and other external gatherings.
By being a part of the SU’s decision making and representative groups, you have the potential to help move us forward and have a great experience while you’re at it!
If you think that you might like one of the positions that are up for grabs then all you need to do is fill in a nomination form and pop in for a chat with us at the SU. Keep an eye out for more information and meetings in the run-up to the elections…

We thank you all for voting in your hundreds. We broke our record this year with 20% of the student population voting which is also great when compared to most other Union elections in the country too. Well the permanent full-time staff spent all day counting, recounting (and in most cases recounting again) on Friday so we now have the results for you...

As you may be aware there was a delay in counting the votes for two positions, Student Assembly Chair and Campaigns & Communications Sabbatical Officer. We have now received the official ruling from the NUS Returning Officer who oversaw the counting of all votes and you can read this by clicking here. The results for these two positions can be found by downloading the results PDF above.
